Expanded Course Description
Feminist Praxis (WGSS 411/511) is a seminar designed to engage senior WGSS majors and Graduate Certificate students with the powerful ways social movements and activists have responded to these constraints through non-profit community agencies, political organizing, and social protest. Through our internships and course material, we will be engaging directly with the dire needs of our communities. To understand these current crises, we will examine some of the intersecting histories that got us here and the relationship of feminist theory to practice.
