Expanded Course Description
In this course will be an intensive seminar in which we will read three recent philosophical texts on the topic of love and sex, including Manon Garcia’s, The Joy of Consent, Amia Srinivasan’s A Right to Sex, and Katherine Angel’s Tomorrow Sex will Be Good Again. If you liked PHIL 170, Philosophy of Love and Sex, and are ready for a senior level philosophy seminar, this class is for you. Expect heavy reading, lots of classroom discussion, and an advanced level writing project that will be part of your life from Week 5 to Week 11.
