Expanded Course Description
This class will introduce, survey, and analyze the pagan religions of medieval Europe, including Norse and English pagan religion, Celtic paganism, and Baltic paganism. We will also examine the question of later pagan survivals and how medieval paganism has contributed to modern neo-paganism.
