Expanded Course Description
This course serves as an introduction to Fascism and the Holocaust, the murder of millions of Jews, Sinti-Roma and persons with disabilities. This course focuses on how valiant individuals and groups understood the threat and civil of Fascism and struggled to defeat it. How did heroism manifest itself in the face of The Nazi regime's actions, such as the establishment of concentration and extermination camps, were a direct manifestation of their fascist policies. These policies were designed to create a racially "pure" German nation and eliminate perceived threats to its existence, including Jews.
