Expanded Course Description
| This course focuses on producing documentaries and short films that challenge mainstream depictions of people of color and promote social justice. The larger purpose of the course is to learn about alternative and independent media/filmmaking. Students will get a basic training in camera, sound, lighting, and on-line editing. Working in small groups, students will learn from each other and discuss works-in-progress. Final student films will be screened and discussed at the last day of the class. |
