Expanded Course Description
This class explores definitions of health and well-being; the implications of new genetic and reproductive technologies; disparities in global burdens of disease; the relationship among health, illness, and narrative; and gendered and cultural differences in the experiences of illness and the practices of healthcare and medicine.
