Expanded Course Description
Weise, J Students conduct original research under the professor’s guidance to create a public, web-based project showcasing the Latino History of Eugene and Lane County, Oregon from the early twentieth century through the present. They will learn how to use Wordpress to tell these stories on a public-facing website. Finally, they will work with a local teacher to turn a selection of these histories into usable lesson plans for local high schools.
