Expanded Course Description
Tackling Texts focuses on developing effective approaches to reading at the university level. We will
explore specific strategies for improving reading efficiency, comprehension, and recall. We will also
review a variety of note-taking methods as well as techniques for incorporating academic sources into
your own writing.
