University of Oregon's Grading System
The University grading system includes the following grades and quality points (used in computing grade point averages). Marks of P, N, I, or Y do not count in the GPA computation.

C | 2 | Satisfactory |
D | 1 | Inferior |
F | 0 | Unsatisfactory performance, no credit awarded |
+ | +0.3 | With A, B, C, D |

P | Satisfactory (C- or above for undergraduate work, B- or above for graduate work) | |
N | Less than satisfactory (D+ or lower for undergraduate work, C+ or lower for graduate work) | |
I | Incomplete (lacking minor but essential requirement) | |
Y | No basis for grade (no longer assignable) | |
X | Mark used when instructor did not report a grade |
